Foyer

Our Main Hall 

Main hall

Seats 300 people in comfort and is fully accessible to users with limited mobility.  Services available include a stage, basic lighting, wifi, sound system, wired and wireless microphones and projection for presentations and video. These services can be provided with operators or not, depending on your requirements and capabilities.  A hearing loop system provides help for those using enabled hearing aids and this floor is serviced by a passenger lift.

The Main Hall is available on weekdays for appropriate groups.  Please contact the office for more details and to arrange a viewing.


Our Seminar Room 

Seats up to 75 people in rows or 50+ people seated at tables.  Some users provide drinks and light refreshments here before or after performances in the main hall. 

Seminar Room

Audio Visual services and flip charts can be provided for the Seminar Room, which is ideal for teaching or for presentations.

Water heaters are available to make hot drinks in the ante-room alongside the Seminar Room.  We can also provide hot and cold drinks for a modest fee.


Our Lower Hall

Lower HallOur Lower Hall seats about 150+ and is accessible from the Bark Street entrance. Currently used by a number of churches, it is ideal for church meetings and functions.  It also has a built-in baptism pool for churches which practice adult baptism but have no facilities of their own.

The Lower Hall is serviced by separate wash-room facilities from the Main Hall and the two can be used at the same time without undue interaction.

The Lower Hall comes complete with a simple sound system, a baptismal pool (advance bookings only) and access via a stair lift for those with walking difficulties.  Unfortunately there is no hearing loop in this room yet.  As it is presently being updated and modernised, the decor is not yet up to the standard of the Main Hall, but the hall remains available for hire as a more economic option.

Our Upper Room

Upper Room

Every church should have an Upper Room – after all, that’s where The Church began!  Ours is a particularly interesting room, used by the children’s church on Sundays but available at other times.  It’s somewhat quirky, but a great place to be. The main area is 7m x 6.5m, but it also has a low stage of 5m wide by 1.5m deep – an ideal place for an intimate concert.

Our Green Room

Lounge

A small, luxurious lounge which is ideal for relaxing before a performance, for meetings and for presentations to a smaller audience.  Seats around 18 people in comfort.




Our Prayer Room 

Claremont Prayer Roomcan be hired as a small meeting room, breakout room or classroom (seating up to 10).



Small classrooms

Classrooms are available for rehearsal and teaching purposes.  Rooms are simply decorated and pleasant.  Tables and chairs can be provided as needed.

Catering 

Our newly refurbished kitchen is available for preparing snacks and drinks, but is not suitable for cooking meals.  We are able to recommend caterers who will provide food to your taste.

We are also able to provide water boilers and ingredients for hot and cold drinks at a very reasonable charge.



Parking

There is a large and convenient NCP car park about 200m from Claremont House.  Parking is free at weekends, courtesy of Bolton Council.

Parking meters are usually available in nearby streets for stays of up to 2 hours. These are free after 6pm and on Sundays.  

There are several convenient car parks in the Bark Street area at the back of the building, which charge a reasonable fee for hourly or all-day parking. 

Health and Safety

The Church Health and Safety Policy document and risk assessments are available to anyone who holds events in our building.

Insurance

The Church maintains public liability insurance which includes provision for events held on our premises by those hiring parts of our building.
